We’re happy to announce that Southport and Formby CCG and South Sefton CCG have commissioned Damibu Feeds for two years!

Following on from the success across Liverpool CCG, we’re excited to bring the benefits of Damibu Feeds to two new CCGs. Damibu Feeds will enable them to support GPs and Primary Care Networks to keep their websites up to date with local health news and self-care guidance.

Damibu Feeds is a new approach to distributing and controlling content. Built on the idea of trusted sources of information, Damibu Feeds allows content to be easily shared across multiple websites whilst ensuring everything is fully attributed to the original source organisation. As well as attribution, Damibu Feeds also includes anonymised analytics, allowing the organisations to see how many people have read their content.

First deployed in May 2020, Damibu Feeds continues to allow Liverpool CCG to share articles across GP surgery websites, helping people find accurate and up to date information quickly and easily. This was particularly important when time was of the essence during the pandemic and information changed rapidly. However, the information hasn’t just been limited to COVID-19-related updates either – topics also included respiratory illnesses in children, getting health advice out of hours and the importance of breast cancer screening.

“Thank you for creating something that makes a busy practice manager’s life easier!“

In Liverpool, the articles shared have been viewed 84,514 times by at least 50,000 people. NHS staff feedback was also overwhelmingly positive, with 95% of GP Practice Managers saying that Damibu Feeds has been of benefit to their patients, while 94% GP Practice Managers think it helps them keep their website up to date.

We look forward to bringing the benefits of Damibu Feeds to even more areas in the future!
